The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has given a positive assessment for the five‐event stack corn event – MON 89034 × 1507 × MIR162 × NK603 × DAS‐40278‐9. EFSA concluded that the event is “as safe as a non‐GM comparator and non‐GM maize varieties tested”. EFSA also stated that it had no concerns on environmental safety even if they are accidentally released into the environment. The Panel found no new information was identified on the five single events that would alter its original safety assessments of the single events.
